Farah Shulman (she/her) is a visual story-teller and media professional.

Farah creates impactful visual stories that bring clarity and engagement to each client’s message. Her approach ensures that images don’t just fill space - they connect with audiences, support editorial goals, and often make complex ideas accessible and engaging across multiple platforms.

Farah has extensive skills in visual storytelling, project management, and team leadership. She is known for her highly-collaborative style combined with a meticulous eye and creative direction. She also excels at building seamless workflows that optimize both creativity and efficiency. Her commitment to fostering diverse, inclusive teams has helped drive representation and varied perspectives within the visual media industry.

Her career includes more than 20 years of experience in visual story-telling leadership roles with Bloomberg News, Getty Images, and CoStar Group. Farah was the lead photo editor for the and her team that waswere awarded the Excellence in Financial Journalism, Best 2022 Visual Design Award, and the Gerald Loeb Awards 2022, Visual Storytelling Finalist for her work on "Every Step of the Global Supply Chain Is Going Wrong — All at Once."

Farah earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from the School of Visual Arts in New York, and she has pursued advanced training in Adobe Photoshop and management development. She currently lives in Brooklyn, NY with her wife and rescue animals.
